Am I on the right track?
I’m getting hives almost every night, out of no where.. mainly under my arms, behind my knees and down the sides of my thighs and legs. I have just been told to take Zantac at night time by my doctor. After talking with another person who suffers the same they told me to take 2 Desloratadine morning and night..
anyone else use this concoction? Am I taking enough? To much? Any suggestions on what else I should be taking? Or doing? It seems to be helping but it has only been 2 days that I been on this mix.

Amber Pita My doctor had me taking 2 zyrtec and 1 pepcid in the morning and night then later she added allegra in the afternoon
Ally Hargreaves Amber Pita did it work?
Amber Pita Ally Hargreaves for a little while but eventually I needed to be put on xolair. Now I am only on xolair and hive free
Jessica Kocher Mine added zantac. Any reason why this is associated with this? Didn’t explain why
Julie Wiedemann-Ball Jessica Kocher zantac helps with the itchiness they are both blockers of histamine
Courtney Wright Jessica Kocher it is an h2 blocker see below for explanation.
H2 antagonists, sometimes referred to as H2RA[1] and also called H2 blockers, are a class of medications that block the action of histamine at the histamine H2 receptors of the parietal cells in the stomach. This decreases the production of stomach acid. H2 antagonists can be used in the treatment of dyspepsia, peptic ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease. They have been surpassed by proton pump inhibitors (PPIs); the PPI omeprazole was found to be more effective at both healing and alleviating symptoms of ulcers and reflux oesophagitis than the H2 blockers ranitidine and cimetidine.[2]
H2 antagonists are a type of antihistamine, although in common use the term “antihistamine” is often reserved for H1 antagonists, which relieve allergic reactions. Like the H1 antagonists, some H2 antagonists function as inverse agonists rather than receptor antagonists, due to the constitutive activity of these receptors.
Julie Wiedemann-Ball I am.on two zyrtec in the am and the PM and zantac twice a day
Charity Hertzler My doctor has me take a loratadine (the generic of Claritin) and a ranatadine (the generic of zantac) together once or twice a day, the theory is that each of them blocks a different kind of histamine. If I take it each day it seems to help. The generics of those are way cheaper btw and you can get them over the counter at Walmart. Good luck!
