Does anyone get broken blood vessels in their eyes when the hives are bad? This is me today. Came out of nowhere.
there any specific soap or disinfectant that triggered the hives?
Has anyone’s chronic hives been triggered by an allergic reaction to a medication
Yes my eyes always get really red and burn
I haven’t had that (yet). I do get quite a bit of bruising though.
ent doc told me not to use contact lenses since i have this allergy problem
I have lots of eye problems with my hives but my hives are Urticarial Vasculitis so the blood vessels in various parts of my body are affected. Have you been tested for that …skin biopsy usually shows whether it’s that or garden variety hives.
Yes I had a biopsy on two of them. One that had been around for about 3 days and one that had just popped up. The results were plain old hives.

My eyes will be so red/bloodshot when I wake up in the morning when my hives are bad
I dont have that but there have been a couple of times when the flare ups are bad I’ve wondered if I am getting conjunctivitis on top of everything else but the stickyness goes as soon as the flare ups abate
Yes I just figured it was a hive on my eyeball ☹️
