I recently seen an immunologist and he said that 90% of chronic hives are caused by an autoimmune disease or more than 1. Mine started 2 years ago and I was diagnosed with hashimotos this October after endless doctors and no help for 2 years. This is what my hives looked like. Now that I started levoxyl I no longer get hives for now.
