We’ve just been to the docs and are starting a regime of Loratadine, Cetirizine and Fexifenadine? to see if we can clear up these spots. If over the counter drugs don’t work then we will try Singulair. And if THAT doesnt work then we will go back for some blood tests. All of these medications/drug names are gibberish to me, I have no idea what they are but I’m hoping they work for the little ones sake.
The paediatrian thinks she either has Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria or Erythema Multiforme (due to her lack of itching), but more likely the first.
Wish us luck! Willow is excited 😉
Patty Gleason Jones she is adorable, I hope you get answers quickly ‘
Brandon D. Eberhardt Try adding 150mg of Zantac “Ranitandine” to you med combo. It’s over the counter. I take almost the exact same meds Claratin, Zyrtec”” ”and Zantac. I used to use Allegra which is the “fexofenadine” we are all different. Process of elimination.
Christopher Lundgren Be careful this falls under pediatric medicine, not adult Brandon D. Eberhardt children can’t always take the same drugs as adults they are much more sensitive.
Brandon D. Eberhardt Stay away from dairy. Start on the lowest dose possible Listen to your doc. I was speaking from an adult stand point in previous post.
Brandon D. Eberhardt Christopher Lundgren yes. I realized what I posted and your absolutely correct. Thanks for correcting the situation. I pray for you and your daughter and hope she finds relief.
Erin Semark Thank you, muchly appreciated
Rain Phoenix Rae I hope she grows out of it either way.much love
Amanda Bothma Erin Semark please do what the paed said. The meds you got will bring relief within hours. Fexofenadine works within 2 hours and lasts 17 hours (not 24). Cetirizine will make her sleep better, so that may be best given at night or when she is really uncomfortable. Loratidine is non-drowsy and can be taken 2 to 3 times a day.
Erin Semark Amanda Bothma thank you so much for the info. The doc did explain them but it was so much to take in so I’m glad you’ve simplified it for me! Thank you
