What type of dr did the parasite test ? general md, allergist, immunologist ?

They wanted me on steroids, normal diet, biopsies, and tons of antihistamines when it was parasites

So after a year of horrific hives and countless misdiagnoses I finally asked for a parasite test which came back positive for a large amount of blastocystis. I decided to do a natural parasite detox and celery juice cleanse for three days. For the first time in a year I don’t have any hives except for a couple on my feet which have since gone away and now I dont have a single hive! I don’t have dermography anymore either! To think that all this time it was parasites blows my mind and it blows my mind even more that not one of my many drs suggested I get a parasite test. They wanted me on steroids, normal diet, biopsies, and tons of antihistamines when it was parasites. You really have to be your own dr nowadays.

Plus everything parasites hate. Three day celery juice cleanse, turmeric, oregano oil, ginger, peppermint oil, probiotics, cayenne pepper. Also anything green and absolutely NO sugar whatsoever

I’m going next week and asking for same thing. All other tests are normal but haven’t had parasite testing. I read in other groups many have had sibo and h pylori that have been causing all their issues. So crazy!!

Jen Foglia yes the medical community knows very little about them. I take a tincture for routine maintenance and look up foods that are good to add to your diet, like pumpkin seeds and turmeric.

Shelly Marie Spicier im not sure about the breath test but the first night of my celery juice and parasite supplement detox I went to the bathroom and passed a foot long ropeworm. I was completely disgusted! Im getting tested for more parasites next week

Jen Foglia I’m in a mast cell support group and so many people have histamine issues and chronic hives and a lot of people had no clue how gut bacteria can affect you. They got tested for these things and sure enough that’s what was causing a lot of people’s symptoms. You should try the breath test for sibo and h pylori also
