My skin is so swollen from the hives it is red and hurts

Not the best photo but my skin is so swollen from the hives it’s red and hot and hurts I usually have very skinny ankles my arms and back look the same so it is either I go into the hospital or start on Prednisone I just got off Prednisone in September after two years not happy at all but I can’t get my feet in shoes and it hurts to walk so Prednisone it is that little evil pill we all have that love hate relationship with.😭😭😰†
